Weekly Tip #11 ~ Fun and Games Night

Preparation:
Purchase or select a couple of games that you both enjoy. Cards, board games, Charades - it doesn't matter - as long as they appeal to both of you.

30 minutes to an hour is all that is required, though you may be having so much fun you may want to continue beyond the initially allotted time.

The Date:
Settle down in a comfy spot, the living room floor, the dining room table, or the bed and let the games begin. For a twist, if it's Scrabble make all of the words related to a memorable dating event, or if playing a board game, allow the winner to make a romantic request of the loser. Whatever game or reward you choose, a little incentive will definitely spice things up.

Remember, win or lose, you and your partner will have great fun.

Time Involved:
Planning time is minimal. The date should take at least 30 minutes of quality uninterrupted time.

Cost:
The cost of the date is minimal unless you buy a new game.

Follow-up:
Children aren't the only ones who deserve to have fun. The ability to have fun together is one of the first things to be shelved when life gets in the way. Wasn't it fun to relax and let go? Did you have fun laughing together?

See you next week!
