Weekly Tip #13 ~ Laugh Night

Preparation:
Plan for a night when you have a couple of uninterrupted hours.

Before your date select, a funny movie that neither of you has seen. Do some advance research in order to make the best possible movie selection.

Don't forget movie night essentials: Popcorn, Twizzlers, chocolate, beverages and maybe even something a little extra special since you'll be at home and won't have to share with anyone else but your partner.

The Date:
Make sure the kids are tucked in, voice mail is turned on and all of the movie goodies are within arm's reach. Make sure to begin the movie with enough time to enjoy it before bed and turn off or dim the lights.

Press play and use this time to snuggle. If it's been a while - hold hands, place your partner's head in your lap and run your fingers through his/her hair, or place his/her feet in your lap and give a relaxing foot massage while enjoying the movie.

Being near one another, laughing together and touching throughout the movie could be enough to ignite some serious sparks.

Time Involved:
The time necessary to select the movie and goodies is negligible. The date will require one and a half to two hours of one-on-one time.

Cost:
This is a wonderfully affordable date. $25 should about cover the cost of the movie rental or purchase and an assortment of movie goodies.

Follow-up:
Did you both enjoy the movie? Didn't the troubles of the day melt away with a laugh before bed? Wasn't it nice to laugh together? Ready to do it again? We sure hope so!
